TrueTONE launches its formula for communicating additive and subtractive color system

Press release from the issuing company

Valencia - TrueTONE, s.l. A spanish company supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (CDTI) continues its R&D and released their color transformation formula between two sets of universal color, additive and subtractive CMY-based model.

TrueTONE has established a direct relationship between the system additive and subtractive system based on the use of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow without using Black.

The most important advantage of using this transformation system is that there is a prior process of calibration and adjustment of bright colors values with press settings, so you get maximum limit of RGB values regarding the maximum values that we can get on press.

The use of black is limited to those colors combinations when required, with the need established by the methodology using on the TrueTONE Color Systems.

TrueTONE is currently in negotiation with various color solutions integrators to use this technology in any color reproduction technology.
