PrintCity Alliance members participate in fifth Balkan Print Forum - Budapest

Gröbenzell, Germany – The Fifth Balkan Print Forum being held in Budapest, Hungary, October 14-15, 2010 under the patronage of manroland, is being supported also by other PrintCity Alliance members Kurz, M-real, Océ, Sappi, UPM and Weilburger Graphics.

The Balkan Print Forum is the yearly meeting of the Balkan print media community, with hosts this year comprising the Technical Association of the Paper and Printing Industry (PNYME), Hungary; manroland Magyarország Kft., Hungary; manroland AG, Germany and the Budapest MoD Mapping Company.

The Forum theme this year is Premium Printing – High Impact, Good Achievements.

Prof. Gerd Finkbeiner, Chairman of the Executive Board of manroland AG will present his 'Perspective Print 2020 – Increasing efficiency and creating value with premium printing'.

Speakers from Muller Martini, Océ and Kurz will give their presentations at the Forum under the motto 'Premium Printing – High Impact, Good Achievements'.

manroland, UPM and KNER Packaging, Hungary will participate in the discussion panel: 'Good Achievements in Packaging Printing', which has been introduced into the event programme for the first time this year.

Information material will be presented on table-tops by manroland, main sponsor of the Fifth Balkan Print Forum event, the co-sponsors: Muller Martini, Océ and Kurz, the sub-sponsor UPM, the supporters: M-real, Weilburger Graphics, Agfa Graphics and Sappi, as well as by the PrintCity Alliance itself.

Gerd Finkbeiner, manroland, summarised the importance of this event, "The objective of our commitment to the Balkan Forum is to fully support the printing industry in the region in improving quality, profitability, competitiveness, and the development of young talents.
