Press release from the issuing company

Grove City, Ohio – Kern, a global leader in high-speed, end-to-end production mail solutions is pleased to announce today that they will be showcasing new inserting technology at the Graph Expo in Chicago from October 3rd through October 6th.  In partnership with InfoPrint Solutions Company, Kern will also present the integration of mailFactory WorkCell with InfoPrint ProcessDirector to demonstrate a low-cost solution for reliable reporting and inserter control integrated into a print-to-mail workflow.

Kern's newest inserting platform will be demonstrated for the first time at Graph Expo.  The new technology demonstration will feature a direct mail application that will highlight the systems speed and intelligence capabilities that bring new innovations to a production mail inserter.  In partnership with CodeZ QR, the direct mail application features an insert with an active QR code for visitors with mobile barcode readers to enter a daily drawing for a $50 iTunes Gift Card.

Kern, Inc President and CEO, Dr. Thomas Brock, stated, "The next generation of mail innovation for the high volume transactional and direct mail market is to give mailers the ability to produce more mail, faster and at a lower cost than ever before.  We are demonstrating our newest inserting platform for the first time at Graph Expo that utilizes the latest technology never-before seen on a production inserter."

Kern will also be presenting the integration of mailFactory WorkCell with InfoPrint ProcessDirector.  The compatibility between Kern mailFactory WorkCell and InfoPrint ProcessDirector will show mailers how they can achieve a file-based, high-integrity print-to-mail environment economically.  Kern Sr. Vice President of Strategy, Dave Squires, stated, "When integrated into a workflow system like InfoPrint ProcessDirector, Kern's mailFactory WorkCell enables single-inserter control that can take advantage of IPPD's built-in print and insert management capabilities, without the need to invest in additional hardware and software, to control all processes in a print-to-mail environment."

"Integration between InfoPrint ProcessDirector and Kern mailFactory WorkCell makes perfect sense, and greatly simplifies the transition to a file-based insertion environment" stated Don Dew, ADF Solutions Manager for InfoPrint Solutions. "InfoPrint ProcessDirector is process automation software with robust print management capabilities. Working in tandem with mailFactory WorkCell, InfoPrint ProcessDirector can manage the entire print-to-mail process from a single point of control; making integrity, reporting, and reprinting simpler than ever. In fact, reprints can be completely hands-off automated."
