RISO to feature next generation of inkjet printing at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, MA - RISO, Inc. will feature the next generation of inkjet printing with three RISO ComColor models, the 9050, 7050 and 3050, at Booth 3111 during Graph Expo 2010 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, October 3-6.

"At speeds up to 150 pages-per-minute and full-color running costs as low as two cents per page, this range of high-speed, full-color inkjet printers is so fast, affordable and dependable, customers have found great cost savings in direct mail, transactional documents, and many other commercial applications," said Todd Deluca, president and chief operating officer of RISO, Inc.

The three ComColor models showcased at Graph Expo will be shown printing a unique transpromotional MICR application with embedded digital security pantographs, variable data envelopes, newsletters, booklets, and more. The combination of ComColor inkjet printing systems, production level accessories from Kirk-Rudy, and transpromotional applications from GMC Software Technology provide unique value-based applications to help commercial and transactional print service providers open unmatched areas of revenue growth and profitability in the industry. Customers stopping by Booth 3111 will also be registered to win an Apple iPad, with one iPad awarded following each show day.

The ComColor 9050 is the world's fastest full-color, sheet-fed inkjet printer. Engineered for commercial applications, the 9050 gives customers long-running reliability in mid- to high-volume printing environments with a realistic duty cycle of 500,000 prints per month.

The ComColor 7050 is a versatile solution for office or print shop. With intuitive controls and robust capabilities, it can add full color to everyday jobs and provides a scalable migration from basic black and white to color for any operation.

The ComColor 3050, for smaller work environments, is compact, fast, and easy to use. This full-color multi-function system gives customers a simple, intuitive user interface and a speedy 90-page-per-minute output.

Customers who schedule an appointment with a RISO representative in Booth 3111 at Graph Expo, will also receive a free white paper, "Digital Color Printing for Mid-Volume Direct Mail Applications: Comparing the Costs & Response Rates for Inkjet & Toner Technologies."
