Tickets still available for PIA's Sept. 29 Franklin event

New York, New York - More than 400 CEOs and senior executives from the printing, advertising, publishing and graphics sectors are registered to attend the Printing Industries Alliance’s 2010 Franklin Event, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29 (5:30-10:00 pm) at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan.

Persons wishing to join in the festivities may still purchase tickets ($350 each) by registering at PIA’s website, www.PIAlliance.org. Tickets will also be available at the door, but advance registration is strongly encouraged.

Receiving the coveted Franklin Award for Distinguished Service will be music industry executive and icon Clive Davis, Chief Creative Officer, Sony Music Entertainment. Also being honored with Power of Communications Awards are Hallie Satz (HighRoad Press/Phoenix Lithographing) for Printing;  Valerie Merone (Victoria’s Secret Direct) for Catalog Publishing; and Scott Masterson (Forbes Media) for Magazine Publishing. The John Peter Zenger Medal will be given to New York City-based photographer, Kiritin Beyer, for her extraordinary volunteerism to the nation of Haiti during its recent earthquake.
