Sept. 19 - In recent weeks there has been speculation that Goss International Corporation and its principal shareholder, Matlin Patterson Global Opportunities Partners, L.P., are considering the acquisition of Heidelberg Web Systems. Bob Brown, Goss International CEO comments, "Goss International will be evaluating opportunities to grow our business as they arise. "Based on the strong global Goss brand, we will consider business growth opportunities both organically and via acquisition, within and outside our core newspaper press systems activities. "We recognize that in a consolidating market, acquisition opportunities will present themselves and Goss will evaluate those opportunities."
