XMPie's latest one-to-one variable data, cross-media communication solution now available

Press release from the issuing company

New York – XMPie, the leading provider of software for cross-media, variable data one-to-one marketing, announced today that the latest version of its award-winning PersonalEffect software is now available. Built to leverage Adobe technology, PersonalEffect 5.0 and the entire XMPie family of products now support Adobe Creative Suite 5.0 (CS5).

In addition to supporting Adobe CS5, XMPie PersonalEffect 5.0 includes several new capabilities that advance variable data print creation, performance and productivity. For example, uDirect, XMPie's desktop solution that is also part of the 5.0 release, now features a live pre-flight window for on-the-spot issue resolution when creating Adobe InDesign documents that are intended for XLIM (pronounced "slim") production. XMPie's image personalization solution, uImage, has improved in performance and ease-of-use, and also includes a new workflow with specialized support for Separated Letters and Image Fonts applications. E-mail workflow was enhanced as well with streamlined pre-flight, "unsubscribe" capabilities, CAN SPAM act support, the ability to create and test e-mails via XMPie's uCreate XM, and more. PersonalEffect 5.0 is also backward-compatible, continuing support for Adobe CS3 and CS4.

"PersonalEffect 5.0 makes once complicated, specialized campaigns a breeze with new dashboard features and simplified, open-ended integrations," said Alastair Midgley, variable data print specialist for Kempenfelt Graphics Group, an award-winning Barrie printing company located in Ontario, Canada. "XMPie has once again demonstrated that they are market leaders by supporting Adobe CS5, improving production speeds, whilst streamlining the process."

XMPie was the first company to integrate and leverage Adobe's InDesign Server. Since that time, all of XMPie's industry-leading solutions for variable data printing and cross-media publishing have been built to leverage Adobe technology. The companies' seamless collaboration provides users with the distinct advantage of using industry-standard, cutting-edge design tools to create eye-catching, dynamic one-to-one communications that retain true WYSIWYG from design to production.
