OneVision opens subsidiary in India, continuing its successful global expansion

Regensburg, Germany – OneVision, a global provider of prepress and premedia software solutions to the printing and publishing industries, today announced the opening of a wholly owned subsidiary in India: the new company, OneVision Software India Pvt. Ltd., has its premises at the German Centre in Gurgaon, Haryana, about 30 miles southwest of New Delhi.

After establishing the Singapore-based subsidiary OneVision Software (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd. end of September 2009, it marks the second opening of an international office within less than a year.

OneVision has appointed Gyan Prakash as Chief Operating Officer of the new subsidiary. Prakash has over 20 years of experience within the publishing industry. Before joining OneVision, he served as senior executive for Quark from 2001 to 2010 where he was appointed Vice President for Asia, Middle East and Africa from 2004.

"And analysts consider the Indian newspaper market as one of the most challenging markets worldwide. Furthermore, the magazine market in India is expected to grow strongly as well. OneVision already has a strong customer base within the region with publishers like the Times of India, Sakal Newspapers, Pragati Offset Pvt. Ltd, and many other renowned users.

OneVision will exhibit its efficiency solutions at the WAN-IFRA India 2010. The annual conference will be held in Jaipur on September 15-16.
