Goss International appoints new Director of Parts Sales for the Americas

September 18th 2003 – Goss International announces the appointment of Merita Sheive as Director of Parts Sales for the Goss Aftermarket team, in the Americas. Based in Goss’ Bolingbrook, IL, headquarters, Merita reports to Tom Hojnicki, Goss Senior VP Global Aftermarket Sales. She brings with her exceptional management and customer skills sets, to direct parts business growth in the Americas. Merita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ithaca College and brings with her twenty years of valuable experience in Aftermarket and OEM activities. Having formerly worked for Goss as Manager of Customer Parts Sales, Merita has considerable expertise specific to the Goss Parts inventory and procedure. “Through listening to our customers and responding to their counsel, Goss Parts will continue to improve customer service. It’s an exciting time to be taking over this role,” states Merita Sheive. “With increased stock inventory levels, new partnerships with components manufacturers and with a new aggressive pricing strategy underway, we are truly focused on meeting customer needs and delivering on our promises. “Goss US continues to be recognized as the supplier of quality press parts. There are many look-a-like parts suppliers but none can match our quality record. I aim to ensure that this same excellence is reflected in all areas of the service we provide.” In line with its business philosophy, to utilize the vast experience of the “Goss Team”, Goss International is dedicated to meeting the broader business challenges of its customers worldwide. Starting in 2003, Goss has been selectively hiring people with key skills and an appreciation of the new economic business model in the newspaper and commercial printing markets.
