Agfa Graphics, SGIA and others team up for seminar on print in emerging marketing trends

Ridgefield Park, NJ - Agfa today announced plans to host the "Converging Marketing Trends - Print & New Media" seminar on September 21, 2010, at its new Canadian corporate headquarters in Mississauga, ON.

The new rules of marketing require targeted and cost effective approaches. While the proliferation of mobile and social media marketing continues to expand, brand owners are also increasingly relying on POP, outdoor advertising and in-store marketing to connect with consumers. Speakers from SGIA (Specialty Graphics Imaging Association), Prescient Digital Media and Cameron Advertising Displays will be presenting timely information for print service providers who are looking capitalize on marketing trends. Seminar attendees will learn about the power of integrated marketing in which print continues to play a significant role. The "Converging Marketing Trends" seminar will provide updates on advances in digital printing as well as insight and real world experiences from successful end users. Seminar presenters include:

Dan Marx, Vice President of Market & Technologies, SGIA - Marx has been with the SGIA since 1991. He works to represent new and emerging technologies and applications to the specialty graphics industry. He also serves as managing editor of the quarterly SGIA Journal and the Annual Guide to Digital Imaging.  He manages the SGIA's Webinar series and educational programming at SGIA's annual convention and exposition. Dan has authored numerous articles for industry publications and has presented at a wide variety of industry events.

Mills has over 20 years of experience in new media, web strategy and design, marketing, management, business development, publishing and writing. Julian's areas of expertise include developing strategic management and marketing plans and leading the execution of web initiatives, marketing campaigns and management initiatives.

Dan Deveau, Cameron Advertising Displays - Printing industry veteran with over 30 years sales and production experience. Dan's experience with emerging digital printing technologies has helped Cameron Advertising Displays improve sales and customer satisfaction.
