Arctec to showcase Grapo Technologies' high-speed Octopus II at Africa Print 2010

Olomouc, Czech Republic – Arctec, distributor for Grapo Technologies in South Africa, is to showcase Grapo's Octopus II high-speed UV printer for the wide-format, digital sign and display market at Africa Print 2010. The show will take place on the 8th -10th September at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. Arctec will exhibit on Stand G9 G22 on Level 0.

Cost-effective printing with Octopus II
The Octopus II is a cost-effective, high-speed printer that delivers near-photographic quality. The system is ideal for sign and display printers that produce a wide-range of creative applications. The Octopus prints on both rigid and flexible materials up to 2050mm wide and 60mm thick. The system can print up to 110sq.m per hour at a maximum resolution of 360 dpi, and is suitable for use with UV-curable inks. This hybrid printer can use roll-to-roll substrates or print on flat and rigid materials using roller-tables.

Unique Substrates
Grapo's range of printers are amazingly flexible and can print on a wide range of substrates including foam, PVC, Forex, glass, polycarbonates, DiBond coated aluminium, acrylic, APET Veralite 100, fluted polypropylene, PVC vinyl, Blueback Paper, Vivak, metal, wood, ceramic tiles, cardboard, textiles and more.
