Oce introduces Oce Account Center

Press release from the issuing company

Venlo, the Netherlands, 16 September 2003— Wide format systems represent a significant investment. Oce Account Center enforces allocation of printing, copying and scanning costs to the appropriate users, departments and projects. As a result, it turns expenditure into chargeable income and maximises returns on document assets. Controlling access to wide format systems Designed for use with one or more Océ TDS systems, Océ Account Center only allows access after valid account information has been entered. So only authorised users can print, copy or scan to file. Easy operation For printing, users enter their account information from their workstations and send jobs to the appropriate printer. For copying and scanning though, job and account details are input at the system's operator panel. Fully tailored to the way companies work Océ Account Center is fully customisable so companies can tailor it to the way they work. Accounting fields and values can be defined to match users, departments, projects and jobs. System administrators can also define other parameters like authorisation and identification requirements as well as remote access and administration settings. Accurate information on system usage Océ Account Center also produces detailed information on system usage. This can be provided in a variety of formats so that important management responsibilities like workload analysis, budgeting and resource planning are as efficient as possible. Seamless data transfer Océ Account Center has a built-in interface that transfers data to other popular software packages. As a result it streamlines accounting, billing and reporting procedures by eliminating time-consuming and error-prone manual data entry. Availability Océ Account Center is immediately available on the new Océ Power Logic Controller in US-English only. Other languages, like German, Spanish, French, Italian, etc. will become available later this year. Upgrades are customer installable and will be made available via www.oce.com.
