New folio sheeter from E.C.H. Will and Pemco for Asian market at China Paper 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Hamburg / Sheboygan, Wisconsin – From September 15 to 17, E.C.H. Will and Pemco, two companies of the Körber PaperLink Group, will showcase new solutions and further developments for the Asian folio size market.

New folio-size sheeter FS: result of joint development
The new FS folio sheeter is the result of a successful joint development of E.C.H. Will and Pemco and combines the product and engineering expertise of both sister companies. It is especially designed to meet the particular and growing needs of the Asian paper industry in regard to efficiency, flexibility and quality. With its modular design, its working widths from 1800 to 2400 mm and its wide variety of configurations from basic to specialized, the new FS folio sheeter enables regional or specialized paper mills and converters to act flexible and to easily adapt to different and evolving market needs.

The basic FS configuration is a solid machine with a best-in-class price-performance ratio which can be easily enhanced by different options to the machine concept or by later rebuilds or upgrades. A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) can be integrated to the FS folio sheeter to further enhance the productivity throughout the whole plant. Additionally, the machine can be fitted with the patented, proven PRO technology from E.C.H. Will for mark-free sheeting of sensitive coated paper and board grades.

Perfect companion: Wrapmatic GRM folio-size ream wrapper
The Wrapmatic GRM folio-size ream wrapper from Pemco is the perfect companion to the FS folio sheeter. Being a high-performance automatic wrapper with a modular wrapping system and various options to meet any production requirement, the Wrapmatic GRM wrapper handles various ream sizes and all sorts of paper, also coated and carbonless, at a maximum speed of 17 reams per minute.

At the China Paper show, Pemco will also present their new Technical Improvement Program (T.I.P.) for existing Wrapmatic GRM folio-size ream wrappers that are widespread in the market. Specially developed modernization programs allow older systems to be equipped with the latest technology that is used in new machines. This results in increased end product quality, higher production output and enhanced performance capability of the machines.

On the booth 1900 at China Paper, from September 15 to 17, 2010, visitors have the possibility to meet  local employees of the sales and service organizations Körber PaperLink Far East and Körber Engineering Shanghai as well as specialists of the manufacturing companies.
