Press release from the issuing company

Waseca, MN – Brown Printing was awarded the top honor in the Annual Gold Ink Awards' Specialty Magazines category.  Brown took home Gold for their work on Hearst's Esquire: Big Black Book.  Brown also received Pewter in the Consumer Magazines category for their production of Future US's Signature.

The awards, billed as "the industry's most prestigious print competition," attracted more than 1,000 entries in a multitude of different categories. Pieces were judged by production managers and directors on the quality of printing, technical difficulty and overall visual effectiveness.

Now in its 23rd year, the Gold Ink Awards competition has earned the respect of the industry's most important producers of printed work.  Brown Printing's work will be honored at the Annual Gold Ink & Hall of Fame banquet on October 14 during GRAPH EXPO in Chicago, IL.
