Agfa Graphics Platinum sponsors SGIA Expo 2010

Ridgefield Park, NJ - Agfa Graphics announced today that the company is a Platinum Sponsor of the 2010 SGIA Expo.  Agfa has backed the annual event in recent years but increased its 2010 contribution to further expand the support of educational, research and business needs of users of digital technology. The 2010 SGIA Expo is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center October 13th-15th.

Today Agfa's diverse collection of inkjet systems addresses the business needs of a diverse array of users within the marketplace.  This includes the popular entry-level :Anapurna M UV inkjet systems which are designed to produce photo-quality output for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications. As well as Agfa's newly-added :Jeti large-format inkjet systems, perfect for high production shops that produce everything from traditional signage to vehicle wraps, billboards and more. The :Dotrix Modular is a digital web press with a printing width of 24.8 inches; it produces short to medium run flexible and folding carton packaging, plus POP applications on a variety of substrates. Lastly, Agfa's :M-Press TIGER, a high-speed, flatbed industrial inkjet press (co-developed with Thieme) capable of producing large-format screen printing output of almost any run-length, with greater cost efficiency. SGIA 2010 Expo attendees will also be the first to see Agfa's newest inkjet solutions.
