Digital Room and U-Printing network adds Mitsubishi Diamond 3000S

Press release from the issuing company

Los Angeles - Digital Room, Inc. and U-Printing Network, a pioneer in digital printing and an early adopter of the web-to-print business model, purchased a highly automated Mitsubishi Diamond 3000S sheetfed press. The five-color, 40-inch press with aqueous coater will expand the offset capabilities at U-Printing's production facility in Los Angeles.

UPrinting.com is a trusted online printer with operations established in 1985. Catering to small and medium-size businesses nationwide, U-Printing utilizes digital and sheetfed presses to deliver corporate identity packages, brochures, postcards, catalogs and other diverse business products. Posters and banners for indoor and outdoor display purposes are among its many large-format offerings.

The Diamond 3000S is the company's second Mitsubishi press. U-Printing also operates a four-color Diamond 3000S equipped with an aqueous coater. Both presses incorporate automated presets, wash-up systems and console-controlled functions to keep waste down and accelerate makereadies. The new press will feature the SimulChanger plate-changing system for plate changes on all units in just over one minute. Running both presses will further improve production turnaround times and broaden U-Printing's offset product portfolio.
