Schaumburg, IL - Sakurai is anticipating an excellent turnout of both offset and screen customers, prospects and guests for its upcoming summer Open House and Vendor Tradefair, now just three weeks away, according to Greg Friesser, General Manager, Sakurai USA, Inc. The information packed event, which celebrates Sakurai's 65th year in business and 20th anniversary as a US Corporation will be held from 10 AM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. 

Sakurai Vendor Tradefair - Update
"As of today, we have a broad spectrum of twenty Industry Partners participating in the Sakurai Tradefair to present the latest in offset and screen accessories, substrates, consumables and more and to help facilitate our press demonstrations and seminars scheduled throughout the day. In addition, over ten Sakurai Suppliers are supporting the event with raffle prizes and donations.  Sakurai's offset press dealers and screen press agents will also be on hand to greet customers and prospects from their respective territories", said Friesser.

Sakurai Seminars
Throughout the day, seminars will be presented include covering Cast & Cure; High opaque UV curable inks and coatings; High-speed automated screen printing on specialty substrates for the electronics and overlay markets and others to be announced.

Highlighting Sakurai's Open House press offerings is a 16,000 IPH 466SDC 20" X 26" four-color offset press with coater and a Sakurai 466 4–color press.  Sakurai press crews will be conducting fast make ready demonstrations and quick plate changes using Mitsubishi Imaging polyester plates. Sakurai SD Series presses are available in 4-6 printing units plus coating and perfecting and are equipped with numerous standard features to increase productivity and performance, such as: Automatic plate changers, blanket washers and ink roller washers, plus CIP 3-4 with JDF compatibility and more.
