Creo Worldwide Operations Certified for Environmental and Quality Management

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--Sept. 11, 2003-- Creo Inc. is pleased to announce that its entire design and manufacturing operations are now certified to ISO 9001:2000 standards for quality management and to ISO 14001:1996 standards for environment management. Achieving the certification is part of the company's commitment to ongoing improvement in quality management and environmental standards. Creo designs and manufactures digital prepress and printing systems in Canada and in Israel. Environmental Management ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized environmental management system standard through which a company can demonstrate its commitment to sound environmental performance, pollution prevention and continual improvement. Quality Management The ISO-9001:2000 (E) certification for quality management assures Creo customers of quality standards for the design and delivery of products and services, sustained customer satisfaction, and quality manufacturing processes. The certification also covers the distribution of Creo products and provision of service to Creo customers from regional offices around the world. Clean Technology Creo implements best practices in environmental management through the design and development of prepress technology for the printing industry. Creo manufactures digital technologies, such as computer-to-plate imaging devices that eliminate the need for printers to use film and film processing chemicals.
