SGP certifies Infinity Images as SGP Printer

Press release from the issuing company

Loveland, OH - The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership announces that Portland, OR-based Infinity Images is SGP's 22nd certified printer.

Infinity Images is a large-format digital printing company that produces graphics for retail, brand marketing, events, and interpretive museum environments. To become SGP-certified, printers must pass an on-site audit with criteria based on an holistic approach to sustainability. Infinity Images chose to become SGP certified to manage its triple bottom line of people, planet and profit.  The company views sustainability as an investment in its future, which simultaneously meets its clients' sustainability goals and betters their communities.

"Infinity Images recognizes the direct impact that our printing decisions have on our environment, the economy, and society. As we find and select the sustainable graphic solutions for our clients, these best practices become an essential part of building our business", comments Eric Balderas, Director of Business Development at Infinity Images. "SGP is key to our company philosophy and business model. The certification establishes credibility, surpassing all the green washing that exists in our industry today."

"The SGP Partnership is excited to announce Infinity Images as the first certified SGP printer in the Pacific Northwest. Its commitment to sustainable business practices is only strengthened by achieving this certification," states Marcia Kinter, SGP Board of Directors Chair.

Infinity Images offers green solutions for clients' various needs, including posters, banners, wall coverings, fabric, signage, and fixturing. Guided by a "less is more" approach, the company focuses on a sustainable use of equipment, materials, and operational practices. Infinity Images saves customers money by operating efficiently and economically, while producing less waste.

SGP-certified printers are assigned a certification number and logo for use on their printed products to indicate it was "Printed by a SGP Printer." Printing facilities located in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for certification with the SGP Partnership.
