alfaQuest Announces Panther TIFF Input Module

Press release from the issuing company

Rolling Meadows, IL September 9, 2003 - alfaQuest Technologies, Inc. announces the release of its Panther TIFF Input Module. The Panther TIFF Input Module accepts CCITT Group 4 compressed TIFF bitmaps from any network source, such as legacy RIPs or scanners. It allows users to drive the full range of Panther Platesetters and Film Imagers, including the FasTRAK CTP/C 50, 110 and 160 plate per hour models. Derived from alfaQuest's leading edge Panther RIP technology, Panther TIFF Input provides the same resiliency and industrial-strength properties, and operates in either Mac Classic or Windows operating environments. The Panther TIFF Input Module has been installed and is in production at the Frederick News-Post in Frederick, MD driving Conventional Plate FasTRAK CTP/C, accepting files from their legacy RIPs.
