Columbus, OH - At first mention, "environmentally-friendly printing company" may sound like an oxymoron to many. Earlier this month Hopkins Printing was awarded the Agfa Graphics GreenWorks Environmental Recognition Award.

GreenWorks awarded printers must meet a required set of criteria which includes integrating sustainable technology and participating in other green projects.

Hopkins also utilizes a solvent recycling system that allows them to purchase less blanket wash each year. As a result, the impact on the environment is reduced, a significant decrease in chemistry use is seen, and an overall increase in energy savings occurs.
