Press release from the issuing company

Niles, IL – Chicago area direct marketing specialists, Specialty Print Communications (SPC), continues to expand and enhance its direct mail print capabilities with the purchase of 12 – 4 ¼" Kodak's Prosper S10 Inkjet heads. The Prosper system by Kodak is an extremely flexible, variable data print solution for high volume direct mail applications, providing higher resolution, and cleaner images than previous generation technology.

The Kodak Prosper S10 System features resolution of 600 x 600 dpi at speeds up to 1,000 fpm. "Improved resolution enables new applications and finally brings inkjet closer to laser quality, enabling marketers to more cost-effectively leverage variable halftone images," said Executive VP of Marketing, Dustin LeFebvre. "Data-driven graphics of products, people, and maps to nearest store locations enable marketers to be more relevant, drive higher response rates and increase their return on investment."

All new equipment will be in place at SPC's print and fulfillment facilities and fully operational by the end of September 2010.
