Friday, July 09, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Easypurl.com today announced the launch of the Easypurl Insider blog, an information source for the latest in cross-media marketing news. The new blog is located on the www.easypurl.com website.

Easypurl Insider is a meeting-place for direct marketers, print service providers and marketing agencies. It talks about the hottest cross-media marketing tools, trends and issues. Starting now, Easypurl.com product announcements and updates will also be available on the blog.

"We were looking for a means to communicate with our customers and prospects outside of typical sales and customer-service conversations. Easypurl Insider is a great way for us to share the latest in industry news, winning cross-media marketing strategies, tips and how-to guides," says Rio Longacre, VP Sales and Marketing at Easypurl.com. "It's candid, it's fun, and it's not a sales pitch."

The blog has been up for a few weeks, and it's already generating the kind of interest the company hoped for - readers asking questions about blog posts, and even suggesting new topics. Moreover, visitors are tweeting about blog posts and using social media to spread the word about Easypurl Insider.

Popular blog posts so far are "SWOT Analysis Of The Print Industry," "QR Codes Shorten The Distance Between A Man And His PURL," and "Selling Cross-Media Projects: An Idiot's Guide."

"The basic purpose of this blog is to share, as experts in cross-media marketing, our industry observations with our customers, prospects and partners," says Longacre. "Easypurl Insider is a great informal venue for us to put across our opinions, comments and expertise to the world."
