SGIA launches pricing accuracy resource

Press release from the issuing company

Fairfax, Virginia - SGIA launched its Pricing Accuracy Web page for the specialty imaging community. The new resource provides graphic imagers and garment decorators with a collection of articles and tools to help create an effective pricing strategy and have confidence when using competitive pricing models.

"Pricing Accuracy helps members better manage pricing models in today's ultra competitive marketplace," said Michael Robertson, SGIA's President and CEO. "Some members will benefit from step-by-step pricing help. Others, who have a strong understanding of their costs and proven business practices, will get ideas from case studies and new methodologies for maintaining reasonable margins."

SGIA members can access numerous pricing accuracy articles - developed by volunteer contributors - to explore various pricing structures and establish best practices for their business. Article topics range from basic starting points and general approaches to assessing the health of your business and measuring your pricing accuracy progress.

You also can take advantage of SGIA's complimentary Webinars, which present strategies and techniques to help you capture costs, manage prices and maintain a healthy margin for your specialty imaging business.

Additional educational sessions focusing on pricing accuracy will be held at the 2010 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 13¬¬–15):
- "Pricing Accuracy for Garment Decorators" presented by Jay Malanga, Shopworx
- "Pricing Accuracy for Graphics & Sign Producers" presented by Scott St.Cyr, Cyrious Software
