Photobook America installs Taopix multisite and uses Facebook to reach consumer

Press release from the issuing company

UK photo book software manufacturer, TAOPIX, has installed its first US MultiSite Production solution at Photobook America, part of the Photobook Worldwide group.

The software is ideally suited to large print and photo lab companies and franchises looking for a cost-effective 'hub and spoke' multisite photo book operation.

Photobook America already operates production sites in Malaysia and Canada and this latest installation represents a specific US focus, with social networking site, Facebook, at the heart of its marketing strategy.

Says Charlene Callaghan, Marketing & Communications Director for Photobook America: "We are excited at the prospect of bringing our photo products to the American market. We have built a solid reputation for quality and value and are confident we can emulate this success in the US."

Comments Gadi Kovarksy, TAOPIX VP Sales (Americas): "Photobook Worldwide is one of our most enterprising TAOPIX customers and excels at business to consumer marketing. Their implementation of TAOPIX Photobook with its ability to allow customised websites in multiple languages, currencies and payment gateways has been a key component in their success to date."

Adds Charlene Callaghan: "We have customers all over the world, so adapting to and using social media to our benefit is important. Our Facebook fanpage has increased by thousands since we launched and started to use the page for various marketing initiatives. Photobook now has over 19 thousand fans on the page and it continues to grow daily."
