Konica Minolta color MFPs rated best overall in customer study

Press release from the issuing company

Ramsey, N.J. - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that it has received the Best Overall Rating for its line of bizhub color Multifunctional Products (MFPs - print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system) in the annual end-user study conducted by The Office Products Analyst, the longest running, continuously published publication that focuses exclusively on the office automation industry.

Driven by Industry Analysts, Inc., the study asked hundreds of Enterprise and small- and medium-sized business (SMB) customers across the continental United States to rate the color MFPs that they use on a daily basis.  Surveys are completed via extensive telephone interviews with hundreds of customers.  In this year's survey, Konica Minolta's color MFPs were ranked Best Overall against five competing manufacturers.  Customers also gave Konica Minolta highest ratings with respect to Image Quality, Overall Product Reliability, General Ease of Use, Productivity, and more.  Of 18 sub categories that make up the "Effectiveness" section, Konica Minolta was rated highest in 12, dominating this year's study.

This accolade comes two months after Konica Minolta's bizhub line of Monochrome MFPs received the Best Overall Rating in the annual monochrome MFP study by The Office Products Analyst.

"Based on what customers told us, anyone in the market for a color MFP should strongly consider a Konica Minolta system," said Andy Slawetsky, President, Industry Analysts, Inc., publisher of The Office Products Analyst.  "By dominating 12 of 18 "Effectiveness" sub categories, the color bizhubs clearly stood out from the crowd."

"This award validates the continuous product and technology innovation that is core to the success of the bizhub color MFP product line," said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.  "Earning high marks in these important end-user studies has presented Konica Minolta with another great vehicle to show customers how they can count on Konica Minolta for all of their printing needs."
