Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Miamisburg, OH – EskoArtwork announces that it is officially opening its North American headquarters with an Open House on Wednesday, July 14, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

"After months of planning and internal construction we are ready for our community to visit us," explains Mark Quinlan, President EskoArtwork North America. "Our new facility is a showplace for the direction of the graphics communication industry and we look forward to hosting visitors at this special event."

A complete agenda appealing to a wide range of print and graphics interests

The Open House will begin with a light continental breakfast along with welcoming remarks from Mark Quinlan, followed by a series of 50-minute solutions sessions covering a range of topics related to packaging, commercial print and sign & display production.

Highlights will include:

- EskoArtwork Suite 10: Sessions will cover Color Engine 10, a centralized color management server and database with patented spectral profile technology and unique spot-color capabilities; DeskPack 10, a series of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop plug-in tools that provide 3D views, compatibility with structural design, trapping, and other sophisticated functions; Studio 10, bringing 3D tools into the packaging design and pre-production world, allowing users to check and finish artwork designs faster, and creating animated 3D visuals for the customer; and Automation Engine 10, workflow automation and job management software with extensive MIS integration capabilities and excellent scalability, making it the heart of any size prepress production operation.

- Digital flexo, featuring EskoArtwork's HD Flexo, the quality standard for flexographic printing, utilizing high-resolution optics and superior screening to deliver the full tonal range of offset and gravure. The Cyrel Digital Imager (CDI), the leading imager for direct exposure on flexo plates, will be demonstrated. The CDI delivers the highest quality flexo for applications in flexible packaging, labels, and folding cartons, among others.

- ArtiosCAD, the world's most popular CAD software for packaging professionals. With dedicated tools designed for packaging structural design, product development, virtual prototyping and manufacturing, ArtiosCAD can increase productivity throughout the company.

- Concentric screening, revolutionary and proven halftone dot technology for offset printing. It divides the conventional round dot into thin concentric rings, limiting ink buildup on plate. Images are sharper and a wider color gamut is achieved.

The complete agenda will be repeated in the afternoon for those who might have missed a session. During a complimentary lunch, a trade fair will provide an overview of important services delivered by EskoArtwork North America, including service and support, maintenance contracts, inside sales and open labs. In addition, tours of the entire facility will be given every hour.

Anyone in the industry is welcome to attend.
