The 32-page EUROMAN has been very successful since its introduction in 2007. Now manroland enhances the EUROMAN’s productivity and capacity with a 48-page version. The renowned Brazilian printing company Gráfica Santa Marta in João Pessoa in the state of Paraíba will install the new press.

Gráfica Santa Marta took the decision after diligent studies and research work on quality, production, and efficiency. They visited several EUROMAN installations in Brazil and Germany to see the press in production. This experience convinced the representatives of the company that has so far been working with competitor presses: the EUROMAN is exactly what they were looking for to print their high-quality jobs ranging from high-end magazines and image brochures to high-value hardcover books and all sorts of advertising material. For manroland it was always obvious the EUROMAN is not limited to 32 pages. We are glad and proud to realize this press now.”

Gráfica Santa Marta is one of the leading Brazilian printing companies with 450 employees and their headquarters in João Pessoa in the North East of Brazil. There are affiliates in seven Brazilian cities, among them Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, and Recife. The machinery park is on a most advanced technical level to fulfill the extremely high quality demands. The printing center has been enlarged continuously and now covers more than 20,000 square meters.

No compromises: total customer care
Should the costumer wish to personally attend the production of his order he is welcome to stay in a comfortable suite in the printing center – even overnight. Sustainability is also taken seriously: the 45-year old company prints on recycling paper and features the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) seal. To provide higher productivity, flexibility, and quality, the new 48-page EUROMAN for Santa Marta is among others equipped with a fast and efficient automatic webbing-up device, a modern film-type dampening system, automated plate change with the proven PPL (PowerPlateLoading) system, ink density control and a 2:3:3:2 commercial folder with one third fold, double parallel and delta fold, stitcher, and glueing device.
