QuadTech expands local service presence in Brazil

Press release from the issuing company

Sussex, Wisconsin, USA – QuadTech, Inc. today announced that it will double the number of service representatives dedicated to the Brazil printing market, and will employ additional localization strategies to ensure fast response to customer needs. The enhanced service capability will enable QuadTech to respond to any service request within one hour of the initial phone call, and to have a service technician on site within 48 hours.

"We've put in place some new localization strategies to make it easier for our customers to connect with our service capabilities," says Ranjan Singh, QuadTech Field Service Manager for the Americas. "Now printers in Brazil will have the benefit of a local parts supply, local contact number, and no language barrier. Parts and service will also be billed in Reais rather than U.S. dollars, and we're eliminating the need to pre-pay."

Local calls for QuadTech parts or service in Brazil can be placed through Caltronic at +55 11 2592 9427, Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (GMT -3) except on holidays, or e-mail: [email protected]. In addition, QuadTech's 24/7 Help Desk (+1 414 566 7373) is open year-round, and has partnered with a translation service to facilitate 3-way calls when Portuguese- or Spanish-speaking specialists are not at the desk.

According to Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech, "With the worldwide economic downturn, Brazil has been one of the few bright lights in the printing industry. As our customers experience growth, we want to stand with them to ensure minimal downtime and help them consistently deliver value for their customers. Our enhanced service presence demonstrates that we're truly partnering with printers to move them forward and increase their profit margins. None of our competitors can come close to matching this service commitment in Brazil."
