Chicago, IL – GPA, the market leader in papers and specialty substrates for offset and digital printing, proudly announces their acquisition of TEC Papers USA from Wausau Coated Products Inc. This acquisition establishes a fourth GPA-operated facility in the U.S. and vastly expands the service and products GPA offers its current customers, as well as those of TEC Papers. TEC Papers, a long time competitor of GPA, is a national distributor of sheetfed pressure sensitive paper, film and digital substrates to the printing industry.

Located in Atlanta, GA, TEC Papers’ Southeastern presence will strengthen GPA’s service and distribution capabilities in that region, as well as enhance both companies’ overall level of service. GPA’s customers will experience the benefits of GPA’s stronger market presence and a wider selection of products immediately available to them. TEC Papers customers now have full access to GPA’s application knowledge and solutions, sales and technical substrate training, worldwide supply base, and broad range of products.
