Printexpress installs HP Indigo 7000 digital press

Press release from the issuing company

South Ruislip, England - E-retail printer PrintExpress.co.uk has successfully installed an HP Indigo 7000 at its South Ruislip premises.

The installation means PrintExpress.co.uk can offer customers faster turnaround and more personalisation options, in addition to high end digital printing. This is because:
- Only 400 HP Indigo 7000s currently operate worldwide. This indicates the prestigious nature of the machine.
- The Indigo 7000 can produce up to 120 colour pages per minute and 240 mono pages per minute. This is among the fastest output rates available.
- The Indigo 7000 produces images up to 1200 dpi. This generates printouts among the sharpest quality.
- The Indigo 7000 is capable of almost total customisation of every sheet.

PrintExpress.co.uk hence aims to offer customers the best printing available today. The company is especially focused on short run production work of books and manuals, and aims to purchase more high end equipment shortly. CEO Murtaza Daya in fact aims for PrintExpress.co.uk to become the UK's only "digital super factory."

He said: "We are extremely pleased to announced the installation of our HP Indigo 7000. This prestigious machine means we can provide customers with personalised short run jobs of the highest quality. Moreover we aim to buy more equipment in the next twelve months – becoming the UK's only digital super factory."
