Newgen to Offer Pageflex in Direct Marketing Solutions for Auto Industry

Press release from the issuing company

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Sept. 3, 2003-- Pageflex, a leader in Web-top publishing, announces an agreement to license Mpower(TM), its composition engine for one-to-one marketing solutions, and .EDIT(TM), its browser-based editing tool, to Newgen Results Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of TeleTech Holdings. Newgen combines marketing and customer retention with an in-depth knowledge of service department operations to deliver highly targeted and customized solutions to automotive dealers and manufacturers. Newgen builds solutions that harness dealership customer databases to personalize such post-sales collateral as service reminders and targeted marketing pieces. Over 40 million letters move through Newgen annually, on behalf of over 7,000 automotive dealerships nationwide. Newgen CEO Bill Klehm explains his vision for the deal this way: "Newgen plans to use Pageflex products to expand our technology lead and combine it with digital asset management (DAM) expertise to bring the full power of on-demand, one-to-one marketing on the fastest platforms to every dealer we service." "The automotive industry was among the first to recognize the potential of streamlined workflows for localization and customization of advertising and marketing materials in a tightly competitive economy," explained David Frenkel, Pageflex General Manager. "Newgen is well-positioned to provide this market with CRM services that take full advantage of the flexible template creation and online previewing in Mpower and the browser-only Web-to-print front-end services of .EDIT. Solutions from Pageflex and Newgen can dramatically increase the reach and lower the cost of after-market campaigns for car dealers across North America." "We expect to integrate Pageflex products first into our Web-based promotion and fulfillment tools," added Paul Whitworth, Vice President of Marketing at Newgen, "following with a Web-to-print workflow that enables dealers to create, order, and deliver materials that are both highly targeted and professionally designed."
