Puritan Press acquires Major Mail and American Printing

Press release from the issuing company

Hollis, NH-based Puritan Press has recently acquired two local firms, American Printing of Amherst, NH and Major Mail of Nashua, NH. Puritan Press and Major Mail are both well-respected firms in the New England marketplace and the transaction will bring expanded capabilities to the customers of each firm. "Major Mail has a long history providing excellent low-price mailing and marketing services to many clients throughout New England" says Kurt Peterson, Puritan's CEO. "We've been working closely with Major Mail for many years but together, our company is even better positioned to provide our customers with one-stop solutions for their communication needs; from design, layout and printing through digital and offset printing, mailing, and fulfillment." Major Mail's founder Larry Billingsley, along with key personnel and equipment from Major Mail moved into Puritan's facility in April.

Puritan also recently acquired American Printing from founder Roger Martineau. American Printing has a strong client base in Southern New Hampshire which complements Puritan's strength in the Boston academic marketplace
