Virtual Systems launches app for iPhone/iPad

Press release from the issuing company

Bellevue, WA - At a company-wide meeting this afternoon, Virtual Systems Corp president Chris Huber announced its newest product release, the VS App for Mail-Shop and Digi-Shop business and 3PF management systems.  This is the first app for software company Virtual Systems and marks its leadership position in development and marketing of portable software solutions for the printing, fullfilment and mailing industry.

As a longtime industry market leader, Virtual Systems develops leading edge software programs which deliver service-oriented information management systems designed to track and measure the costs of mailing and fulfillment and provide the data necessary to accurately bill for all services.  Virtual Systems products help improve profitability, streamline processes and grow revenue.  By using fewer employees to accomplish more work, providing accurate job-costing data and optimizing their business for ultimate efficiency, Virtual Systems has helped its clients increase bottom line results with Mail-Shop, Digi-Shop and 3PF Manager.

"This is a huge step for our company as we make our footprint in the digital printing revolution," said Chris Huber, President and founder of Virtual Systems.  He continued, "We realize we are slightly ahead of the curve with our software and our apps. Most printers are currently focusing on hardware solutions to help them ease into the digital era.  So come time for GraphEx in October, they're going to need new software to maximize that new hardware.  We'll be there waiting for them."

By allowing  print shop owners, key managers, and salespeople to access critical business information on their phones in real time, the business will be more productive and efficient.  Built-in views allow instant access to statistics on its Top 20 customers, particular job profitability, and even specific sales trends.  The new VS App even allows for managers to see who on their staff has clocked in -- and out -- for the day.

"Our entire platform of software solutions has always been about making companies more profitable by helping them to be more efficient," offered Huber.  "The exciting thing about this app is that efficiency increases exponentially by allowing managers to be involved even if they're not in the office.  There are a lot of moving parts in a printing, mailing and fulfillment business.  This app gives the user control over those moving parts without having to be in the office -- let alone walking around the facility."

The VS App is available as an add-on module to any of Virtual Systems' programs.  In addition to running as an iPad/iPhone app, the module can also run using its browser versions on other smart phone platforms, including Google's Android and Windows 7 Mobile).  In fact, the app is so flexible that users can even program custom views to display up-to-the-minute information.
