Zevrix updates InDesign automation tool BatchOutput to support Adobe CS5Friday, June 04, 2010 Press release from the issuing company Toronto, Canada - Zevrix Solutions today is pleased to announce the release of BatchOutput 3.8, a compatibility update to its popular professional solution to automate printing and exporting from Adobe InDesign. Developed originally in-house at one of the largest ad agencies in Canada to boost productivity of its prepress department, BatchOutput quickly became the software of choice for sophisticated automated output from InDesign. BatchOutput automates and simplifies InDesign production workflows of service providers, printers, ad agencies and publishers. With BatchOutput, users only need to select the files to output and adjust the settings, and the rest will be done automatically. For example, BatchOutput can be left to output hundreds of InDesign files overnight, and the completed job can be picked up next morning. As Tami Stodghill wrote in X-Ray magazine, "The complete automation hooked me - BatchOutput lets you work after hours without lifting a finger." BatchOutput automates printing as well as exporting to PDF, PostScript, EPS, Flash, INX and various image formats. It offers the following powerful automation capabilities: The new update adds support for InDesign CS5 and introduces several new features, such as export to Flash CS5 Professional (FLA) and new advanced SWF and JPEG export options. BatchOutput now also includes a free license of File Courier to support automatic digital delivery. BatchOutput is also available in a server version which offloads printing and exporting to PDF and PostScript to a central system leaving InDesign workstations free from the output process.
