Seats going fast for free June 9 Harper Flexographic Solutions Seminar in LA

Charlotte, NC – Those interested in attending the June 9 Harper Flexographic Solutions Tour seminar in Los Angeles should RSVP no later than Friday, June 4. The seminars are organized by Harper GraphicSolutions, technical service division of global anilox supplier Harper Corporation.

Fullerton College is hosting the free day-long session on Wednesday, June 9, beginning at 8 a.m. Attendees can receive a special $89 a night rate at the nearby Crowne Plaza Hotel Fullerton.

Seminar presentations – given by experts from Harper and other industry leaders – address topics of interest to print managers and supervisors, operators, pre-press managers, graphic designers, ink, plate and pre-press suppliers as well as general managers and purchasing staffers.

Bill Malm, Harper’s Midwest and West Coast Technical Graphic Advisor, will open the seminar with his overview of pressroom standardization. The morning schedule includes a briefing on how flexographic plate mounting tapes can improve print quality and productivity. Also scheduled: a comprehensive review of surface tension and ink adhesion principles and analysis of effective approaches to anilox cleaning in today’s environment. 

Following a complimentary lunch, attendees will hear a discussion on creating leak-free clean printing stations and suggestions on options for improving process control procedures in plate rooms. The seminar will end with concluding remarks and the awarding of door prizes in mid-afternoon.
