Guest-Tek Selects EFI PrintMe as Preferred Mobile Printing Service

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--Sept. 2, 2003-- Electronics For Imaging today announced that Guest-Tek, a leader in delivering full-service, wireless and wired broadband networking solutions to hotels, will offer EFI's PrintMe(TM) mobile printing service to hundreds of hotels worldwide. PrintMe enables hotel guests to quickly and easily print documents from wireless devices and laptops using the hotel's high-speed Internet access system without requiring special cables, drivers, or IT support. "PrintMe offers a valuable, convenient and easy to use service to hotels and their guests," said Paul Sullivan, Guest-Tek's chief executive officer. Guest-Tek customer Carlson Hotels Worldwide has already evaluated and approved PrintMe for use in its hotel brands, which include Regent® International Hotels; Radisson® Hotels & Resorts; Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts; Country Inns & Suites By Carlson®; and Park Inn® hotels. To use PrintMe, hotel guests simply log on to the Internet from their rooms, point their browser to the PrintMe web page, and upload documents. Guests can also email their documents using the PrintMe email address. Documents can be delivered to guest rooms, or can be held for printing until the guest personally retrieves it using a secure DocID number.
