Trekk Partners lead IPA technical discussions

Press release from the issuing company

Rockford, IL - Jeffrey Stewart, Partner and Chief Technology Officer, and Robin Tobin, Partner and Vice President of Key Accounts at Trekk Cross-Media, will moderate panel discussions at the 2010 IPA Technical Conference. Held June 7-8, 2010 in Rosemont, Illinois, attendees of the 2-day event will learn what's next in graphic communications and take away tips and tactics for increasing quality and reducing costs.

Centralized Content Management will be the topic of a panel discussion moderated by Tobin.  As the amount of digitally developed content grows, so has the number of communications channels for distributing that content. Managing the sheer volume has become a challenge for organizations large and small. In this session, participants will learn how companies have benefited from investing in smart content management. Trekk's Stewart and Kirsten Barker, President of Prendismo, are featured speakers.

Stewart will moderate a session called SaaS and the Cloud . Software as a service and cloud computing are quickly becoming commonplace in delivering software solutions over the Internet rather than installed locally. Attendees will learn the implications of moving applications from the desktop to a cloud computing environment. They'll also find out what services and applications are being conducted in the cloud today and what may come tomorrow. Speakers include Wayne Sadlowski, Vice President Business Development at Scene7, and Andrew Simmons, Vice President Business Development at The Social Print Experiment.

IPA is an international trade association representing creative, premedia and print service providers who specialize in operating powerful digital workflows to create, image and deliver graphics files across multiple media. The theme for this year's conference is "Mastering Color, Automation, and Cross-Media."

Trekk Cross-Media is a full-service marketing communications agency that combines strategic planning, creativity and best-of-breed technologies to deliver integrated communication solutions across new and traditional media. Its experience in variable data and web-to-print technologies over the past ten years has gained the firm national attention.
