Dscoop partners with InfoTrends to offer e-Learning programs and Ultimate Guide online

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago – Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) announced that, effective immediately, the organization will be offering InfoTrends' e-Learning programs and Ultimate Guide Online buyer's guide through its Web portal. As part of the agreement, Dscoop members will be eligible for discounts on each program.

"It is part of our mission to offer members access to tools and resources that will help them maximize efficiencies, increase productivity, gain market share, and accelerate return on investment," said Larry Vaughn, Dscoop chairman and president of Ideal Printers. "InfoTrends' Ultimate Guide Online allows our members to see the breadth of products available on the market today in one convenient, interactive database allowing them to make a more informed decision about what to purchase for their business. Once they have chosen the correct solution, InfoTrends' eLearning program provides the training needed to successfully sell these products to their customers."

InfoTrends' Web-based e-Learning training programs offer a self-paced curriculum with guided audio and engaging interactive exercises that are available 24 hours a day. InfoTrends has two comprehensive training programs available: Customized Communications Sales Training and Introduction to Digital Color.

"The Infotrends e-Learning series has been very beneficial to our sales team and staff," said David Smith, business development director at Williams Visual Solutions. "We are all on the same page and share common terminology, which is vital to effective communication and efficient production. Our sales are up more than 100 percent in high value-added services in the last four months, and our sales team is very aware of opportunities that in the past may have been untouched."

InfoTrends' Ultimate Guide Online is the most comprehensive resource for production printing hardware and software product comparisons. Each guide includes information on products across all leading brands and offers an unbiased, third-party analysis with real-time updates as the market evolves. The interactive tool allows subscribers to understand and compare a range of solutions quickly and easily from the comfort of the office.

Ultimate Guides are currently available for Enterprise TransPromo, Multi-Channel Communications, Variable Data Publishing, and Web-to-print. Ultimate Guides for production-class cut-sheet, roll-fed, and wide format digital devices will be available later this year. Members can try the database for free by signing up through the Dscoop Web site. Premium access, with even more in-depth information and analysis, is also available.
