IPEX brings massive expansion of worldwide MGI distribution network

Press release from the issuing company

Adding to an already successful IPEX in terms of sales, MGI Digital Graphic Technology announced that they have added more than 20 distribution partners covering 26 countries, to their global network in the last five days.

In the largest single expansion since drupa 2008, MGI now boasts representation in more than 70 countries on 5 continents, with their newest partners covering territories in the Europe, Africa and Middle East regions.

MGI's distribution network, many of whom are adding digital to complement such offset lines as Heidelberg,  Komori and KBA, will handle sales, service and support for MGI's innovative lines of digital printing and finishing solutions, including the award-winning Meteor DP60 Pro multi-substrate digital press and the JETvarnish digital inkjet spot UV coater.

"We were seeking to sign new distribution contracts at IPEX and very excited to partner with some of the leading master distributors for the world's biggest offset lines," said Victor Abergel, Executive Vice President for MGI.  "Our digital solutions are an ideal complement to many of the traditional offset commercial processes, a strategy confirmed by the strong worldwide sales of our JETvarnish and Meteor DP60 Pro."

IPEX has been a stellar show in terms of sales for MGI as well, with more than 15 JETvarnish units signed, as well as 60 Meteor DP60 Pro digital presses with accompanying  finishing solutions for paper and plastic applications.
