Thursday, May 27, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Loveland, OH - The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership announces that it has certified SunDance Marketing Solutions of Orlando, FL, as an SGP Printer, bringing the total number of certified facilities to 21.

SunDance Marketing Solutions is a leading-edge, woman-owned organization that offers a wide range of print and technology-based marketing products. Committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices, SunDance strives to reduce any harmful effects its production process may have on the environment. The company continuously seeks more sustainable alternatives to its processes, products and services.

"Sustainability and conservation have always been important to us, and we have been proactive with implementing it into our operations," states John Ruggieri, a partner at SunDance Marketing Solutions. "SGP certification is valuable to us because it enabled us to improve our green practices and track our improvements against our long-term goals to see how much we'll be saving. We also find that our customers are thrilled to learn that we received this sustainability certification."

SunDance joins a growing group of certified SGP Printers including Coating Excellence International, of Wrightstown, WI; Greenerprinter, of Berkeley, CA; and T-Formation, of Midway, FL. There are more than 30 SGP Applicants currently working through the certification process.

Printing facilities located in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for certification with the SGP Partnership. To become a certified SGP Printer, a facility must demonstrate conformance with criteria that require a holistic approach to sustainability and must pass an onsite audit. Certified printers are assigned a certification number and logo for use on their printed products to indicate it was "Printed by a SGP Printer."
