Integria Completes Acquisition of Scabrini Media

Press release from the issuing company

MONTREAL, Aug. 29 - Integria Inc. announced today that it has purchased the commercial printing clientele of Scabrini Media Inc. The transaction now confirms Integria's position as the largest independent sheet- fed printer in Quebec with post transaction sales revenue nearing $40MM CAD. Scabrini plans to wind down its commercial print facility in Anjou, Quebec in the near future and has no plans to continue or compete within the commercial printing industry in Canada or the US. "We are very pleased with the transaction and are equally excited about the impact of Scabrini's clientele on our operation. The increased volume will enable us to cope with some difficult capacity utilization issues currently facing all printers in the industry", said Jamie Barbieri, Integria's President and CEO. "Increased competition and difficult market conditions within the commercial printing industry has certainly taken its toll on our business - this transaction is strategic for us and will allow us to concentrate our efforts towards our book publishing and digital print activities", said Pierre Goulet, President of Scabrini Media. The transition of the clientele into Integria will be immediate and closure of the print facility in Anjou will take place once all current printing obligations have been met.
