Lamidoll purchases JETvarnish digital inkjet UV spot coater

Press release from the issuing company

MGI announced today that another JETvarnish purchase had been confirmed at IPEX, this time to Lamidoll, a leading finishing provider based in Finland. The sale was handled by XES Oy, MGI's distributor for Finland.

Lamidoll provides a total finishing solution to their customers, with an emphasis on lamination, flood and spot UV coating services to the trade. They had previously been doing spot UV coating via a screen press, but began searching for a digital alternative that would be better equipped to handle shorter runs and eliminate costly and time-consuming make-ready.

"We chose MGI's JETvarnish after extensive research into other inkjet technologies," said Ms. Annika Salomaa, CEO of Lamidoll. "The JETvarnish performed above and beyond our expectations in terms of quality and substrate flexibility, which we confirmed after extensive testing at MGI's Paris headquarters. We're excited to now offer our customers a wider range of spot UV coating options for even their shortest runs."
