Tukaiz Partners with TheMash to launch online personalized products store

Press release from the issuing company

Franklin Park, IL – Tukaiz, a leading provider of results-driven marketing communications services, today announced a new partnership with TheMash, a weekly newspaper largely written by Chicagoland high school students and produced by the Chicago Tribune Media Group.  Tukaiz will make available to TheMash newspaper and its affiliated website themash.com, the company's exclusive image-personalized calendars, notebooks, folders, posters, holiday cards, and notecards via an online storefront. Chicagoland high school students will also have the opportunity to submit designs of their own to expand on the creativity of the company's innovative image personalization technology.

"TheMash aims to provide content that is relevant and engaging to high schoolers through our print and digital products." said Ryan Miller, General Manager of TheMash. "Tukaiz leads the way when it comes to creatively integrating print and interactive communications.  This partnership gives us the opportunity to offer this unique merchandise to our students and families while showing our students innovative ways to use technology."

Tukaiz' partnership with various Tribune Company businesses extends nearly two decades, most recently with a storefront for WGN. The company's advanced image personalization technology creates customized products unlike any other on the market today. For example, on any of the printed communications the recipient's name can appear in clouds across the Chicago skyline or in the dirt at home plate at Wrigley Field. With the launching of TheMash online storefront, Tukaiz is making one-of-a-kind products available to consumers who would not typically have the opportunity to obtain them.

"Tukaiz has always been a proud supporter of many youth initiatives," said Todd Manley, manager of consumer markets for Tukaiz. "We applaud TheMash for their commitment to giving high school students a voice in the future of journalism. We look forward to giving Chicago's city and suburban high school students the opportunity to submit designs of their own to expand the creativity of our popular image personalization technology."

TheMash represents a journalistic endeavor that embraces multiple media streams. The weekly newspaper is geared for Chicagoland high school readers and there is an affiliated website that offers interactive and networking capabilities.

The various products offered by Tukaiz include a 24" x 36" poster customized with the recipient's name in the Ivy at Wrigley Field, traditional 8.5" x 11" spiral bound notebooks, 9" x 12" two-pocket folders created using sleek and sturdy stock with satin laminate, 11" x 17" wall calendars, desk calendars measuring 5" x 7.5," and notecards and holiday cards measuring 5" x 7" in boxed sets of 20 complete with envelopes.
