Zevrix releases BatchOutput Server 4.3; adds InDesign CS5 Support

Press release from the issuing company

Toronto, Canada - Zevrix Solutions today is pleased to announce the release of BatchOutput Server 4.3, a compatibility update to its powerful output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Originally developed for a major publisher in the United States, the software automates InDesign output by processing files from hotfolders. BatchOutput Server offloads printing and exporting to PDF and PostScript to a central system leaving operator workstations free from the output process.

"BatchOutput Server is an extremely useful utility for a busy production facility or advertising agency", writes David Creamer in Layers magazine, "It can save lots of time - which equates to money."

Under BatchOutput Server workflow, production artists and prepress operators simply submit InDesign files to hotfolders that reside on the network. BatchOutput Server automatically outputs the files from its dedicated station using hotfolder settings, and will auto-activate document fonts as well. Operator workstations will never again be tied up by the output process.

Major BatchOutput Server features and benefits include:
- Process InDesign files from hotfolders
- Auto- activate document fonts
- Automatic e-mail notifications of process stages and errors
- Export files as single pages
- Update modified links automatically
- Variable output file names
- XML- driven processing
- Monitor BatchOutput Server from user stations
- Detailed processing logs

The new version makes BatchOutput Server compatible with InDesign CS5 and enhances some output capabilities.

Pricing and Availability:
BatchOutput Server 4.3 can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions web site for $699.95 (USD), as well as from authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for the users of previous versions. BatchOutput Server is a Universal Binary, runs on Mac OS X 10.4 and later and works with Adobe InDesign CS-CS5.
