GPA announces partnership renewal with HP Indigo

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – GPA, a widely recognized market leader in providing substrate solutions for HP Indigo digital presses, proudly announces that they have been granted the designation of HP Preferred Partner for the third year in a row.

The HP Media Team designed the Preferred Partner program to establish a standard of excellence for partners who exhibit best in class service and support, provide extensive depth and availability of HP Indigo certified substrates, and excel in supporting HP Indigo's sales and marketing efforts. The renewed partnership between HP Indigo and GPA will continue to help owners of HP Indigo technology achieve a competitive advantage and profitable growth in the digital marketplace.

"Having the HP Indigo endorsement as a Preferred Partner immediately establishes confidence in the value that GPA brings to the market. We support this on a daily basis by engaging our customers with sales training on new applications and hot markets, delivering high quality products that run consistently, and providing industry leading technical support. From our customers' perspective, knowing we can supply 95% of the material that they run every day takes the guesswork out of choosing the right substrate which shortens the learning curve and makes them more profitable right out of the gate," said Ron Pergande, Ultra Digital Product Manager at GPA.

As an HP Indigo Preferred Partner, GPA will continue to help leverage the unmatched capabilities of the HP Indigo press by pioneering new applications and adding to their broad array of products and solutions. This summer, GPA will release their new digital catalog that is nearly double the size of the current edition, with a tremendous new offering of HP Indigo certified substrates. This progress is also reflected in GPA's double-digit growth over last year, defying the trend of the general industry economic climate.

Over the last two years of partnership with HP Indigo, GPA has had the privilege of participating in a number of international industry events with HP, allowing GPA the opportunity to meet Indigo users worldwide and expand their solutions offering to a wider audience. They currently look forward to participating with HP in IPEX, a global technology trade event for print, publishing and media, taking place May 18-25 in Birmingham, England.

"Simply stated, at GPA we are passionately committed to partnering with our digital customers to help them grow their business. This commitment is evidenced by our designation as an HP Indigo Preferred Partner, as well as our affiliation with Dscoop as a Platinum Partner. We are extremely proud to be embarking on our third year as an HP Indigo Preferred Partner as a continuation of this commitment, and we look forward to ever greater successes in partnership with our customers and HP Indigo for years to come," said Michael Ratcliff, President and Chief Executive Officer, GPA.
