IMPIKA highlights innovations at it stand at IPEX

Aubagne – France - Ipex, the world's largest English-speaking exhibition devoted to print, publishing and media production opens its doors on May 18. The occasion will present an opportunity for visitors to discover new products and trends and tour the IMPIKA innovations as well as experience its inkjet know-how.

iPress range
The tour begins with the iPress 2400, the latest generation inkjet press for "offset quality" print jobs. The iPress 2400 represents not only a technological breakthrough but a new standard in performance and design. With print resolutions ranging from 1200 to 2400 dpi (200 lpi or more) and print speeds up to 76m/mn (250 fpm), the iPress 2400 combines quality, productivity and flexibility to meet the needs of printers looking for growth opportunities.

iPrint range
The second stop on the IMPIKA tour brings us to the markets for transpromo, book publishing and newspaper. IMPIKA recently announced a line extension of its iPrint, continuous feed printers and is now recognized as offering the broadest range of ink jet printers in this market segment. The intermediate model in the iPrint range, the iPrint 75/125 will be demonstrated on the stand and visitors will have an opportunity to judge for themselves the ease of use and its ergonomic and innovative design. The new model iPrint 150/250 can print up to 250m/mn (820 fpm) of 4-color transactional documents using environmentally friendly, water-based inks. Available in four basic Press Release versions and a in variety of configurations, the iPint range is high adaptable to different
customer needs in these market segments.

iEngine range
The last stop on the IMPIKA tour takes us into the field of direct marketing and high volume mass mailings. The displayed solution incorporates a transport base equipped with the latest inkjet print engine, the iEngine 1000. Compact and innovative, the iEngine range features a fully integrated, automatic cleaning system offering a degree of flexibility that allows 4-color prints runs of exceptional quality (up to 1000dpi), and monochrome output at rates up to 600m/mn (1960 fpm) on a wide range of print media up to 108mm wide. The iEngine 1000 application presented at the IMPIKA stand will process personalized color envelopes, opening new prospects for direct marketing.

And finally, the printer of tomorrow…
The tour of the IMPIKA stand concludes on the mezzanine, where, in an atmosphere of great moment, visitors will discover the print head that will drive future inkjet printing into a new dimension of quality, speed and printwidth.
