AGT-Seven Embraces Adobe InDesign

SAN JOSE, Calif.--Aug. 26, 2003-- Adobe Systems Incorporated, the leader in network publishing, today announced that AGT-Seven, a business unit of Applied Graphics Technologies and provider of graphics services to the advertising community, has expanded its support for Adobe InDesign software. A member of the Adobe Solutions Network, AGT-Seven accepts InDesign files at locations worldwide. The company also delivers in-depth InDesign training, has moved its internal publishing projects to InDesign, and is integrating InDesign into its TeamBase publishing system. "AGT-Seven's success depends upon supporting industry-leading technologies and meeting customer demand. To meet both challenges, we integrated InDesign into our prepress and print production workflows more than two years ago and have established a strong, supportive relationship with Adobe," said Diane Romano, president of AGT-Seven. "Now, with an increasing number of clients moving to InDesign, we're taking a multifaceted approach to helping customers succeed with InDesign by delivering broader support, training, and publishing systems based on InDesign." AGT-Seven joins a growing list of more than 6,000 print service providers accepting InDesign files for prepress and printing. Adobe offers a comprehensive training program that gives service providers the requisite skills to process InDesign files and help ensure rapid, consistent printing. AGT-Seven client Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), one of the world's leading advertising agencies with clients such as Levi's, Johnnie Walker, Unilever's AXE, Sony Ericsson, Partnership for a Drug-Free America, ING Direct, US Weekly, Men's Journal, amfAR, and Mentos, has converted to InDesign to take advantage of the software's advanced creative tools and create a streamlined production workflow. The BBH New York office is supplying AGT-Seven with InDesign files for print processing on a regular basis. AGT-Seven's own conversion to InDesign for designing and publishing Techniques went smoothly and required minimal training.
