Finch paper starts blog for designers

Press release from the issuing company

Glens Falls, NY - Finch Paper unveils the new Finch is in the House blog, an inspirational forum featuring unique, real-life projects created with Finch's renowned line of value-driven, uncoated papers for traditional and digital printing. The blog was built to educate and entertain those interested in learning more about the countless attributes of uncoated paper; the ways global brands such as Acura and Abercrombie & Fitch are using Finch successfully; information about the latest promotions and contests, and more.

Beth Povie, Finch Paper Marketing Communications Manager, says, "The new Finch is in the House blog is a creative place for designers to be engaged in all that Finch has to offer. There's a wide array of work that can be produced for less money using our popular, high-quality papers. The blog will showcase Finch-produced successes in all types of applications."

Finch has instituted strict criteria for justifying development and promotion of its online forums. "The reason why our Finch in the Forest blog is so successful," Povie explains, referring to the insightful education site penned by Finch's Senior Forester, Roger Dziengeleski, "is that it offers information that you cannot get in other places, delivered very simply, by an expert who brings exceptional qualifications to the table.

"Roger has a wonderful way of teaching us all about what is 'green'," Povie continues. "The Finch is in the House blog is similarly unique. Designers will get focused, uncoated paper ideas and information based on exciting, real-life projects."

Designer Showcase and Contest
Finch will regularly spotlight in-house and studio designers using Finch paper in the Finch is in the House blog. The company is in fact celebrating the blog and its design customers with a "Finch is in the House" contest. Professionals who submit entries and 10 samples of Finch-produced projects by June 4 will have a chance to win a MacBook Pro. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing to be held June 7 at the HOW and In-HOWse Designer Conference, in Denver.

All real-life Finch projects, whether submitted for the contest or not, will be considered for featured coverage on the Finch is in the House blog. Interested creative professionals who believe their clients' projects deserve a place in the showcase should email Beth Povie.
