20+ printers automate spot colors with GFI Innovations in '10

Press release from the issuing company

Gurnee, IL – GFI Innovations reported an outstanding start to 2010, with over 20 paste ink dispensing units installed at some of the nation's top printers.

"Printers are looking to cut costs from anything in their pressroom. Fortunately, our dispensing technology allows them to do just that," says John Borkovec, Sales and Marketing Director at GFI Innovations.

"It's nice to see momentum from referrals building in the field. Peer groups and national accounts, such as IPW and Consolidated Graphics, are talking. They're passing along success stories of our equipment, and nothing is better for sales than positive customer testimony."

GFI Innovations manufactures the Mx-Series ink dispensing units, allowing printers to automate the process of blending PANTONE and spot colors in-house. The main advantages are cost savings, faster turnaround time, and precision weighed color accuracy.

"We now have over 220 successful installs in 37 states, and we're getting to the point where the technology is selling itself. We couldn't be more excited about the momentum." Borkovec added.

GFI Innovations leads the industry in paste ink dispensing systems with their Mx-Series technology. The company offers innovative products to help commercial printers reduce ink waste and automate the PANTONE and custom spot color procurement process.
